St. Philip’s Episcopal Church enjoys the dedicated services of clergy, staff members and volunteers who help fulfill our mission.

They include:

The Rev. Peter Doddema -- Rector

The Rev. Peter Doddema, his wife Nicole and their son Roman, reside in Harrodsburg. Peter and Nicole are natives of Kansas. They moved to Harrodsburg, from Alexandria, Virginia, where Peter attended Virginia Theological Seminary. Both Peter and Nicole enjoy music -- Peter sang in a cathedral choir for many years and Nicole has a college degree in music education and music therapy. Roman follows the family musical tradition by singing in the Danville Children's Choir.

A Prayer for Service

Almighty God, assist us to see your vision of the growth and vitality of St. Philip's. Help us to reach those who do not know your saving grace. Deepen our commitment; increase our faith and trust, that we may live as witnesses to you. May the Holy Spirit lead us to the service you would have us do, as servants of Christ Jesus our Lord, in whose name we pray. Amen.
